This is Saints territory. The downstairs bar has a great selection of local and craft beers as well as plenty of whiskey choices to warm you up on a cold DC evening. Fantastic vibe (make sure to spend a little bit of time in the spooky cool back patio!), great beer selection, nice bartenders, and the DJ kills it upstairs with early 2000's hits (the downstairs playlist is also excellent). Always enough people to have a fun energy but hasn't felt overwhelmingly crowded in my experience. Their signature frozen drink, "The Awesomeness" is a peach iced tea/vodka slushy situation that's worth trying. This is my go-to spot when I have out-of-town friends visiting DC and everyone has loved it. ”
